Adding a Forum Signature

Have a quote you love and want to share with the world?  Or maybe you are an accessible travel service website and want readers to know how to find your website or social profiles?

Then you should add a signature to your profile!

What is a Signature?

A signature is a small bit of text that shows up at the bottom of every post or reply you write in the forums.

Why Would I Want a Signature?

Many people use signatures in forums as a bit of flair.  You could use it to tell people about yourself (ie “power wheelchair user from London”, or “Visited 10 countries and counting!”) or share a quote you like (ie “Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all. – Helen Keller”).

For those with accessible travel blogs or offer services to travelers with disabilities, a signature can be a good way to share your site or social profiles.

A signature is completely optional.

How do I Create a Signature?

First, go to My Profile.

Then chose Edit:

Type in your awesome signature in the Forum Signature text box:

After you are done, click Save Changes at the bottom of the page.

That’s it!

Can I Use HTML?

If you want to add a link, you can use HTML in the signature area.

Here is a guide to basic HTML: www.simplehtmlguide.com/basics.php
