Priority cabins in trains will be introduced this year for MRT riders with disabilities, seniors, pregnant women.
All buses and bus stops are to be accessible by 2020, and will have priority queues for those who have extra needs.
For those with invisible disabilities, MRT and LRT lines will be offering a so-called “please offer me a seat” identifier that will indicate their needs to other passengers.
The government is also working to help taxi companies increase their accessible fleet.
Exciting to hear!
Has anyone used the MRT in Singapore? What is it like now?

Singapore has been great in my experience so far. Did not ride the MRT on busy hours, but had no problems using it. Plenty of personnel around to help too. Last time I’ve been was in September last year.
