Was reading on Lonely Planet that there is a themepark in Florida that has been autism-certified!  That is pretty cool!

    Here is what they said:

Aquatica Orlando is a park filled with waterslides, pools and splash zones. Now, it has become a Certified Autism Center (CAC) after a partnership with with the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES). This means that some staff have been given training focused on sensory awareness, program development and more, in order to make the park more accommodating to guests with autism.

Has anyone been?  @impactvacations Have you seen this?

Yes! The staff and management have gone through thorough Autism training so they can better assist families during their stay and recognize the signs when those with autism are becoming over stimulated. Hopefully the other parks will follow. Some theme parka including Dollywood in Tenneessee have created sensory rooms in their parks to allow families with autism to take a break from the noise and commotion of the theme park during the day.
