    Hi All

I’m new here. My movement is severely restricted and I use a mobility scooter. I’ll be travelling to the Rugby world cup final in Yokohama in November, flying into Haneda.

Can anyone tell me how difficult or easy it will be for me to get around using public transport? I will be accompanied by a friend

    Hello,

In general, public transportation is great here – over 90% of stations in Tokyo are wheelchair accessible.  The only difficulty may be your scooter because scooters are not as well accepted here.  You may want to read this: https://www.accessible-japan.com/mobility-scooters-japan/

We also have a user forum on the Accessible Japan website you may want to post on: https://www.accessible-japan.com/forums/

    Hope that helps!
